Serial ini merupakan kelanjutan dari serial City Hunter dengan plot utama cerita tentang detektif underground yang berusaha membersihkan kota dari penjahat. Disini dikisahkan bahwa Kaori partner sang detektif meninggal akibat kecelakaan lalulintas. Banyak kata dan cerita yang sangat menyentuh. Lagu intro maupun penutupnya sangat bagus. Meski agak mengandung gambar dewasa, tapi ceritanya sarat akan makna hidup.
